FAQ

How does it work?

On the day of your reservation, our team will set up your tent package on the high tide line at the location you specified in your reservation. Once your tent is ready, we'll text you a picture of it along with a message indicating your tent number. At the end of the day, our team will return to collect the tent and any other items you may have rented from us.

Can we change or move our tent?

We kindly ask our customers not to change or modify the tent in any way. Please refrain from raising or lowering the tent, removing any stakes from the sand, or altering the position of the guy lines. Additionally, do not leave the chairs unattended outside of the tent. If our team discovers that the tent configuration has been altered in any way, the person who made the reservation will be liable for any damage that may occur to the tent frame, canopy, or chairs.

We don't like our spot, will you come move us?

No, once our team has set up in the morning, we will not return until it is time to break down and collect our equipment. We set up on the high tide line specifically so we don't have to worry about the tide overtaking our equipment. We get out early and place our tents in the requested location, but we cannot control who will be near you. If you have a multi-day package, we make slight adjustments on the next day.

Why don't you offer more choices for East Beach?

The short answer is, we cannot fight the tide. East Beach has changed dramatically over the past few years. The high tide line at 6th St through 9th St now reaches into the dunes. We cannot set up in the dunes, and when the tide is in, there isn't enough beach for us to operate. We can access at 12th St and move towards 10th Street, and we can also access 3rd St and move towards 4th St. We anticipate that this will be the case for some time to come. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

Why are the dates we want greyed out on the calendar?

If the dates you're looking for are greyed out on the calendar, then we are at capacity and cannot take any more reservations for those days.

We want multiple days but need a day or two in the middle, how do we make a reservation like this?

The easiest way for our reservation system to handle multiple days with a break in the middle is to make two separate reservations. For example, if you wanted a reservation for May 4-12 but didn't want a tent package on May 7, make one reservation for May 4-6 and a second reservation for May 8-12.

What do we do if something is in our tent?

Occasionally, our customers arrive to find their tent occupied by someone else. First, double-check your tent number. If you find that others are under your tent, kindly approach them and ask them to vacate the tent.

Can we leave the tent during the day?

Sure, you may leave your tent during the day. We suggest that you do not leave anything valuable behind, but you are welcome to come and go as you please. However, we ask that if you decide to leave the beach early, please inform us. Additionally, please do not allow others to take over the tent. If we find the tent damaged or in a different configuration, the liability will fall on the person who made the reservation.
