The Tent Guys Terms and Conditions / Privacy Policy

The Tent Guys (officially The Beach Tent Guys, LLC) respects your privacy. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the following terms regarding how we handle your data:

  • Data Collection: We collect your name, email address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates. This information is collected via our website contact form, email, rental agreement, or third-party reservation systems such as FareHarbor.

  • Data Usage: We use your data solely for the following purposes:

    • Confirming and updating your reservation

    • Weather-related notifications, including potential cancellations or changes to setup and breakdown times

    • General customer service communication related to your booking or inquiry

  • ​Message Frequency: ​Users will receive messages once per day during their reservation or as needed based on reservation updates.​

    • ​​Customers will receive one message for each day of their reservation to confirm their reservation is ready for use

    • We will send information concerning weather related events that may impact a customers reservation once per day during their reservation

    • We will reply to any messages customers initiate (inbound messages) for customer care purposes

  • Data Security: We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access.

  • Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion at any time.

  • MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited texting or data plan.

  • Messages are recurring, and message frequency varies depending on your reservation details and any necessary updates.

  • Contact The Tent Guys at (912) 268-1554 or tents@thetentguysssi.com for HELP or to STOP receiving messages.

  • Opt-Out: You can opt out of the SMS list at any time by texting, emailing, or replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to (912) 268-1554 or tents@thetentguysssi.com. After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS confirming that you have been removed from our list, which will occur within 24 hours.

  • You can send HELP for additional assistance, and you will receive a text with our phone number, email, and website. We are here to help.

  • Non-Sharing Clause: We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Tent Guys will never sell, rent, or share collected mobile numbers.
